UI/UXProject outline:
The task was to select a local nonprofit and design an app to address issues that can be improved on their website, my nonprofit of choice was Tiny Lions Cafe in Ann Arbor; they are a cafe in partnership with a local shelter.
My vision:
After conducting user interviews, I found that a common complaint among participants was the difficulty in navigating many adoption sites, and they often lack clear instructions on the next steps for initiating the cat adoption process. Thinking about formats for viewing a lot of profiles and quickly making connections, I came up with a strategy of mimicking a dating app but for cat adoptions.
